Lauren has been in the industry for over 20 years. Her father was a hairdresser and at a young age, she decided she was going to follow in the same career path. She loves the relationships she builds with her clients and all guests of De Novo. The highlight of her career is helping her team reach their goals both personally and professionally. She is an ambassador for Back 2 You, which specializes in providing alternative hair for medical hair loss situations. As the owner of De Novo Salon, Lauren strives to offer a wide variety of services to cater to everyone who walks through the door.

Melody | Salon Manager | Executive Stylist
Melody is originally from New York and has been in the industry for over 20 years. She enjoys not only the creative side of hairstyling, but also the relationships she builds with her clients. She has a daughter, Raquel, with whom she loves spending time with. When she is not with her daughter, she is traveling, planting, or crafting. Melody specializes in blonding, short haircuts (bobs, pixies, etc.), reds and extensions.

Jessie is originally from Los Angeles, CA and has been doing hair for 12 years. She got started doing hair as a way to work while going to college, but quickly realized that she had a passion for the industry and making people feel amazing. Jessie loves spending time with her family and friends, but when she isn't traveling or running around town, she is home doing DIY projects and isn't afraid to get her hands dirty. Stephanie has been doing hair for 10 years and is a Eufora Educator! She was inspired to get into the industry because of her mother’s iconic haircuts over the years. She loves to uplift her guests with the confidence to walk a little taller than when they walked in. She loves working out and challenging herself to new ways to stay active. She loves attending advanced education classes and hanging out with her son, Tae. Stephanie specializes in curly hair, balayage, special occasion hair and product knowledge.

Haleigh started in the hair industry as her mom’s assistant doing hair and makeup for weddings. She is now our Bridal Coordinator and head of the De Novo Special Events Team. She loves working at the salon because no two days are the same and it never feels like work. When she isn’t working she is at the beach, floating down the river or traveling. A fun fact about Haleigh is she is the self declared Dance Master of De Novo Salon, so you may catch her in action! Haleigh specializes in bridal and special occasion hair and makeup, lash extensions, and blonding.

Alyssa has been doing hair for 13 years and is originally from San Jose, CA. Growing up, she would always style her friends' hair and realized she wanted to make it into her career. She loves making people feel refreshed, happy and beautiful. She has two sons, Elijah and Wyatt, that keep her on her toes. She is a part of the worship choir at Marcus Pointe Church and enjoys kayaking, adventures, and most of all, being a mom. Alyssa specializes in color, balayage, cuts, extensions and special occasion hair.

Samantha was always into hair and makeup, even as a child, but when she got to high school, she started doing proms and events and fell in love. She has been doing hair professionally for 3 years and her favorite thing about doing hair is when she helps a client reach their hair goal and she sees the happiness on their face. When she is not in the salon she is binge watching shows and movies, doing makeup, hanging out with her kitty, Keanu, and listening to music, especially Kpop. Sam specializes in blonding, rooted looks and makeup.

Tarah has been playing with her dolls' hair and coloring her hair pink since she was young. The creative output that doing hair provides her was the reason she wanted to make this a career. Kasey used to go to the salon with her Nana as a kid and has always enjoyed artistic and creative activities so she went to cosmetology school! Kasey has been licensed for 3 years and loves making people feel confident in how they look. She enjoys hanging with her dog, Buddy, boating, going to the beach and traveling. A fun fact about Kasey is that she was a karate instructor and held a black belt! Kasey specializes in blonding, color, long haircuts and makeup.

Marlene is originally from Stamford, CT and has been a licensed cosmetologist for 3 years. She loves being able to make someone look amazing and feel better about themselves. When she isn't spending time with her 4 year old son and rescue pup, she is reorganizing things and loving her plants! Some fun facts about Marlene are that she has a twin sister and she is bilingual!

Hailey is from Oak Lawn, IL and recently moved to Pensacola for the sunshine! She has been licensed for 3 years but took some time off to be at home with her daughter. In her off time, she loves to spend time with her husband and baby girl. She has come back to our salon ready to learn and focus on her career. Hailey loves to make people look and feel beautiful and takes pride in her amazing scalp massages.

Elizabeth is originally from Fort Lauderdale, Florida and a recent transplant to Pensacola. She’s been an aspiring stylist since the age of 5 and has been working in salons for over 12 years. She's passionate about cruelty-free and eco-friendly beauty. She specializes in global blonding, fantasy color, and wants to add barbering to her repertoire. When she’s not at work she’s spending time with her rescue animals or baking.

Meagan grew up in the Florida panhandle and just recently got into the hair industry. She has had a passion for hair and makeup since she was a child and loves being able to use her creativity to help people express themselves freely. She wants to specialize in fashion colors, special event hair, and make up, but wants to be well-rounded in all areas. She loves spending time with her dog and friends, and loves to paint and read at the beach in her free time.

Baylee loves being a director of first impressions, she loves getting to meet new people and see their hair dreams come to light. After graduation, she plans to become a real estate agent and become a certified esthetician. Outside of work, Baylee likes spending time with her family and friends and loves going to the beach.
Holly | Director of First Impressions
Holly is originally from Lawrenceville, GA and has been in the Pensacola area for 2 years now. She has 6 years experience in the Salon industry. She loves being at De Novo because of the welcoming and inclusive environment the team has built and maintains everyday.
While not at work, Holly loves spending time with her dog and cat, going for walks with a coffee in hand, hanging out at the beach and watching all things Bravo and reality tv.
